1. Symptom – Motor Stall Error Message

   Before the Motor Stall message is displayed, the Viper unit puts the affected barrel into a 2 minute defrost and two retries before displaying the message. You will see barrel recovery prior to motor stall.

   Check for the following:

   1. Low brix in barrel – see brix category in installation segment

   2. Low voltage

   3. Bad motor or motor controller board

   4. Motor capacitor

   5. Overtightened faceplate

   6. Verify Motor Type is correct in Motor Setup menu
   (Type1=60Hz units, Type2=50Hz units)
   7. Check for damaged beater bar, etc. inside barrel
