1. Evaporator (Foam Pack)

   Viper evaporators are often referred to as a Foam Pack due to the nature of their design. Copper tubing is then carefully wrapped around the freeze barrel and soldered in place for efficient heat transfer. Foam is then injected between and around the freeze barrels to add and increase insulating properties and prevent heat transfer from taking place between freeze barrels. All Viper foam packs are a front feed design for refrigerant and flows from the front of the freeze barrel to the back.

   Barrel - Efficient design provides increased capacity and superior defrost capabilities.

   No refrigerant "seals", copper coil wound and soldered to barrel. The coil is brazed to the refrigeration tubing to minimized potential for refrigerant leaks in the foam pack.
