Refrigeration System Transducers
The Viper refrigeration system contains pressure transducers for monitoring refrigeration operating pressures without attaching external gauges. The low side transducer is located on the refrigeration line (copper tubing) outlet side of the freeze barrels. The high side transducer is located on the refrigeration line (copper tubing) before the liquid line solenoid and the AEV at the inlet to the freeze barrels. The low side transducer marked with a green ban has a range of 0 to 300psi and the high side transducer (no band) has a range of 0 to 500 psi. The transducers are not interchangeable.

Pressure Transducers
The Viper contains pressure transducers for monitoring the individual freeze barrel pressure to keep the barrel filled with product. When the barrel pressure falls to 23 psig the transducer signal calls for the syrup, water and C02 solenoids to open and allow the product to flow to fill until the pressure reaches 28psig. Each freeze barrel has a pressure transducer teed into the product line feeding the barrel.
