Water Pressure Issues

IDC Pro Pocket Guide — Troubleshooting

  1. Proper Pressure

The IDC Pro needs proper water pressure of 50-65 PSI. Each IDC Pro is sent with a 65 PSI water regulator, which needs to be installed within two feet of the inlet of the carbonator pump.

Note: High water pressure will cause the carbonator tank to flood and inhibit carbonation.

  2. If Pressure Low

If water pressure is low, check for the following causes: Check for excessively long runs (over 100 ft) of 3/8" water supply line. Increase the line size to 1/2" if necessary.

  3. Check for Plugged Filter

Also check for a plugged water filter, and change the water filter as needed.

  4. Water Pressure Booster Pump

If water pressure is still low, it may be necessary to install a water pressure booster pump.

If a booster is already installed, check if the tank/ bladder has burst, and replace it.

Check the in-line water regulator for proper flow.
